as well as customer funded testing that demonstrate DUOLINE’s
ability to perform in extreme conditions typically encountered by
oilfield tubulars.

DUOLINE 20 - LONG TERM EXPOSURE, 250°F,
3000 psi
DUOLINE TECHNOLOGY, GREAT BEND, KANSAS, 1992
DUOLINE 20 was successfully tested in the following test:
Two 2-3/8" J-55 EUE 8-round tubing nipples were internally
lined with DUOLINE 20 and screwed together with a threaded
coupling. Threaded end caps were installed to create a pressure
vessel, which was filled 50% with a mixture of saltwater and
crude oil. The remaining volume was filled with a gas mix
of 5% CO2 and Nitrogen. The DUOLINE 20 assembly was heated
to 250°F (121°C) and internal pressure elevated to
3000 psi and placed upon a rocker arm which rotates the assembly
at a plus and minus from horizontal position. After 2 weeks,
the sample was depressurized at 100 psi/minute, then re-filled
with the gas mixture. The assembly was maintained an additional
2 weeks at 250°F (121°C) and internal pressure of
3000 psi. Finally the sample was depressurized at 100 psi/minute,
and taken apart for examinations. The liner condition was
excellent.
