The testing summaries below illustrate a cross sampling of in-house as well as customer funded testing that demonstrate DUOLINE’s ability to perform in extreme conditions typically encountered by oilfield tubulars.

CAPCIS LONG TERM CORROSION TEST

CORROSION & PROTECTION CENTRE FOR INDUSTRIAL SERVICES, MANCHESTER, UK, 1996

A joint-industry-program for evaluation of materials in flowing seawater conducted the following test: DUOLINE 20 lined 3-1/2" OD NS-CT-FGL pup joints were included in a flow loop test where various coatings, linings and alloy steels were exposed to seawater flowing at 23 ft/sec (7 meter/sec) at various temperatures and with various levels of chlorine injection. A series of short term exposures, totaling 300 days of liner exposure, and a 365 day continuous flow test both revealed that DUOLINE 20 was the only protection system to continue protecting the steel throughout the test.
