The testing summaries below illustrate a cross sampling of in-house
as well as customer funded testing that demonstrate DUOLINE’s
ability to perform in extreme conditions typically encountered by
oilfield tubulars.

RAPID
DEPRESSURISATION TEST, 240°F, 2500

DUOLINE TECHNOLOGY, ODESSA, TEXAS
Two 3.5" OD 9.3ppf L-80 Nippon NSCT-FGL threaded pipe
sections internally lined with DUOLINE 20 were tested at 2500
psi and 240ºF while filled with 1/4 vol. Kerosene, 1/4
vol. NACE brinewater and 1/2 vol. gas mixture (1000 ppm H2S,
4.7% CO2, and bal. CH4) for a total of 7 days exposure with
3 rapid depressurization cycles at a rate of 500 psi/minute
while at 240ºF and 1 very aggressive depressurization
cycle at a rate of 1000 psi/minute while at 240ºF. RESULTS:
All liner components, including the liner, flares and PTFE
corrosion rings were in excellent condition after this test.
