ability to perform in extreme conditions typically encountered by
oilfield tubulars.

SEAWATER EROSION TEST
LaQUE CORROSION SERVICES, WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NORTH CAROLINA,
1995
Testing by a major oil company to demonstrate DUOLINE 20
performance with raw untreated seawater at high velocities.
This testing was part of a qualification program for offshore
raw seawater injection wells in the North Sea. Two (2) 3-1/2"
OD DUOLINE 20 pup joints were exposed in two (2) back-to-back
tests where raw untreated seawater at ambient temperature
and low pressure was continuously pumped through the pipe.
The water velocity rate of 40ft/sec (12 meter/sec) was maintained
for 60 days, followed by a 60 day term at 50 ft/sec (15 meter/sec).
No erosion damage was observed in the liner, the liner remained
in a pristine condition.
